Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance official site is up and running

by Paul Shirey

The official site for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is now up via Sony’s site or directly here.  All the usual trimmings are there, including wallpapers, animated gifs, photo gallery, and a cast/filmmakers page.  There’s also the promise of a game and a 3D video stunt featurette on the way.  Pretty standard stuff, but at least there are score samples from the film by David Sardy, which may well make it worth a visit for you.

The Nevaldine/Taylor flick picks up where the first film left off and will hopefully induce more than yawns and boredom like the original.  I mean, we don’t have much to lose, right?  Personally, I dig Nevaldine/Taylor’s batshit crazy style and think it’s the perfect mix for Ghost Rider and Nicolas Cage knows how to bring the crazy.  Marriage made in hell?  Many are writing this one off on general principle, but I think this will be a riot, if nothing else.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance starts pissing fire on February 17, 2012 in both 2D and 3D (ouch!)
